Content Policy — Cockroach Network

This policy explains what is not allowed on Cockroach Network, and what happens when

someone breaks the rules. It applies to posts, chat messages, images, profile photos,

display names and "about" text.

1. Child safety — zero tolerance

Any sexual content involving a person under 18 is absolutely prohibited. This

includes photographs, video, drawings, AI-generated imagery, and text.

It also covers grooming, soliciting minors, sexualised comments about a minor, and

sharing links to such material elsewhere.

If we find or are told about this material we will, without warning:

remove access to it immediately,
preserve the evidence and the associated account records,
permanently ban the account,
report it to law enforcement — including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal

(cybercrime.gov.in) and local police where there is an Indian connection, and NCMEC

where applicable.

There is no appeal for this category.

2. Adult nudity and sexual content

Not allowed. Images are automatically screened before they can be sent or set as a

profile photo, and explicit images are rejected. Repeated attempts lead to suspension.

3. Violence and threats

No threats of violence, incitement, glorification of violence or terrorism, or graphic

violent imagery.

4. Harassment and bullying

No targeted abuse, stalking, sexual harassment, or sharing someone's private information

(doxxing) without their consent. Sending unwanted sexual content to someone is harassment.

5. Hate speech

No attacks on people based on religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual

orientation, disability or similar characteristics.

6. Scams, fraud and impersonation

No phishing, fake giveaways, "send ROACH to double it" schemes, or pretending to be

Cockroach Network staff, another user, or any real person or organisation.

7. Spam and platform manipulation

No bulk unsolicited messaging, engagement farming, bots, scripted mining, multiple

accounts, or fake referrals. Rewards obtained this way will be reversed.

8. Illegal goods and activity

No sale of drugs, weapons, stolen data or credentials, and no facilitation of other

criminal activity.

9. How we enforce

We use three layers:

Typical outcomes, depending on severity and history:

content removed
warning
feature restriction
account suspension
permanent ban (immediate for child safety)
reversal of rewards obtained through abuse

10. Reporting

Use the 🚩 Report button on any message, post or profile, or email

abuse@roach.network.

We acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
We aim to action them within 24 hours, and to fully resolve within 15 days.
The person you report is not told who reported them.
Every report and every decision is logged with the reviewer and timestamp.

11. Appeals

If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notification or write to

abuse@roach.network with your referral code and what happened. We will look again.

Child sexual abuse material is not appealable.

12. A note on privacy

Direct messages are private between the two people in the conversation. Our staff do not

browse them. They are accessed only when a message is reported, or when we are legally

required to. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted — please do not treat them as secret.
